Hot Cars: Can Anything Be Better?

I am a gear-head, and over the years I had many, MANY, cars.  But, there comes a day in everyone’s life that one car makes you’re knees go weak, and thrills you to the core.

This was that car for me:

I spent a lot of time and money on this cruiser.  It was a labor of love.

Yeah…  She set you back in your seat.

   Whoa!
   Mike, what a machine! I’ll bet you can imagine every nut, bold and gasket on this thing clearly in your mind still today! Very nice. Nothin’ says “balls” like a blown Camaro!

   I did…
   The engine was an experiment. I used a 350 block with a 307 crank, 327 pistons and .001 shortened rods, which gave it a total CID of 336. 7.5 to 1 compression and that big blower gave it one hell of a punch. Overall, it made around 800 HP.
   It was a wild ride. The only car I ever owned that could break the wheels loose at 45 MPH and slide the car sideways. (These days, we call that Driftin’)

   God I miss that car. But… I had to give it up for other important things. Someday, maybe………
